Joe Leavitt is making his FLO debut as Tevye. A father of four daughters (five if you count their goldendoodle), Joe is excited and humbled to, once again, take on his favorite theatrical role for the fourth time. Past roles include Father: Children of Eden, Sweeney: Sweeney Todd, Pseudolus: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Minstrel: Once Upon a Mattress, and Nicely Nicely: Guys and Dolls. He is thrilled to share the stage with his daughter Sophie and so many other talented performers in this show. Thanks to his wife, Julie, and his daughters for their support and encouragement. Tara Jackson is thrilled to be a part of FLOs production of Fiddler on the Roof! Tara received a BA in Theater from the University of Wyoming and for the ten years following college was able to tour both nationally and internationally with a multitude of shows. Favorite roles include Donna in “Mamma Mia”, Rita in “Prelude To A Kiss”, Billie Dawn in “Born Yesterday”, and Prudie Cupp in “Pump Boys and Dinettes”. Tara would like to thank the amazing cast, crew and production team of Fiddler on the Roof.  This entire process has been amazing! Chelsea Ranelle (Tzeitel - Sunrise Cast) is honored to be making her FLO debut telling this meaningful story. This production always makes me feel closer to my Romanian Jewish and German Jewish ancestors—their lives, their faith, and their traditions. Extending my gratitude to them and to my living family for all of the wonderful traditions that we have kept with us. Katherine Light (Tzeitel) is excited to take the Franklin Light Opera stage for the first time! She has been performing since the age of four at both community and professional theatre houses; some of her favorite roles include Lorraine (All Shook Up), Narrator (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), and Savannah (Freaky Friday). Katherine is currently a senior at Belmont University where she studies classical voice under Dr. Mark Whatley. When she isn't on stage, Katherine enjoys choreographing and music directing as well! She would like to thank her family and friends for their support and hopes you enjoy the show!

Anthony is thrilled to make his debut with Franklin Light Opera as Motel with the Sunrise cast. This marks his first show in over a decade, following his senior year of high school, when he played Tony in West Side Story. His other credits include Jimmy in Thoroughly Modern Millie and the title role in Shrek! The Musical, both with the Seton-Elder Performing Arts Series in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. He'd like to thank FLO for giving him the opportunity to rediscover his passion for performing, his castmates for being wonderful to work with and welcoming him back into the theatre world, and his family and friends for their encouragement and support along the way.

Peter Singletary (Motel): Peter is 19 years old and is excited for his first show with FLO! He has been an active member of theater for six years. Some past shows include 9 to 5 at Page High (Joe), Hunchback of Notre Dame with Source One Five (Clopin), and Oliver with CYT (Fagin).

Peter is currently attending Columbia State Community College with a major in Theater Arts. He wants to thank the cast and crew for making this show possible, along with his family and friends for all of their kindness and support. With that, he hopes you enjoy your trip to Anatevka!

Maryn Quimby is thrilled to be performing with Franklin Light Opera as Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof. A lifelong performer, Maryn has been taking the stage since the age of six and has appeared in more than 25 theatrical productions, developing a deep love for musical theatre and storytelling along the way.

Maryn is currently pursuing degrees in Music and Psychology at Lipscomb University, where she continues to grow as both a musician and performer. A gifted soprano with a passion for classical, musical theatre, and contemporary music, she recently released her first EP, Covers, featuring her interpretations of songs spanning generations.

Maryn is especially excited to portray Hodel, a character whose strength, independence, and unwavering love make her one of the most compelling young women in Fiddler on the Roof. She is grateful to the cast, creative team, and everyone at Franklin Light Opera for the opportunity to help bring this beautiful story to life.

When she isn’t performing or studying music, Maryn enjoys volleyball, being with friends and appearing as several princesses through her job with FairyTaled Events. She strives to embody Luke 10:27 in her daily life. 

She would like to thank her family, friends, teachers, and everyone who has encouraged her throughout her journey. “To life!”

Nathan Yaras is a Senior at Page High School and he is excited to perform the role of Perchick. This is his second show at Franklin Light Opera as he was in the ensemble of Pirates of Penzanze and has been a part of the group for almost three years. He recently performed as Phoebus in The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Source One Five, and he has completed a countless number of shows. He also likes to get big in the gym and study science, philosophy, and theology. Nate is excited to showcase this production with his fellow actors and he hopes that you enjoy the show!

Simon Dumont is thrilled to be returning to FLO as Perchik in this classic show. He is a senior at Page High School in Franklin who has been onstage since third grade, appearing in almost 30 shows. Favorite roles include Hades (Hadestown), Frollo (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), Angus Tuck (Tuck Everlasting) and Ebenezer Scrooge (A Christmas Carol). He is enjoying being a part of this talented cast with many friends– and his family!

Lilah Edwards (Chava): Lilah is thrilled to be making her FLO debut in Fiddler on the Roof! She has been performing since kindergarten and has loved musical theatre ever since. Some of her favorite roles include Fate 3 in Hadestown, Nancy in Oliver!, and Mrs. Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie. Lilah enjoys tap dancing, creating music, singing, spending time with friends, and, of course, performing!

Lilah has also been in commercials for Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, and American Girl's YouTube channel. She is incredibly grateful to the directing team for giving her the opportunity to play Chava and be a part of Fiddler on the Roof. She would also like to thank her wonderful castmates for their hard work, dedication, and for helping create such an amazing show. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Sara is a high school senior delighted to be in her first show with Franklin Light Opera. Her earliest encounter with theater was in a children’s improv workshop where she played Peter Rabbit at age five, and she has been performing ever since. Sara has ten years of formal dance and theater training with Concordia Arts Academy. Favorite roles include Queen Aggravain in Once Upon a Mattress, Constable Joe in Tuck Everlasting, Dame Ellen Terry in The Actor’s Nightmare, R2D2 & C3PO in Shakespeare’s Star Wars Trilogy. Sara is a storytelling artist and writer planning to study in both disciplines with an eye toward animation.

Cameron is thrilled and honored to be a part of FLO’s Fiddler on the Roof! He is 16 years old and a Junior at Brentwood High School. Some of his favorite roles include Willy Wonka in Willy Wonka, Jesse Tuck in Tuck Everlasting , and Trunchbull in Matilda. He enjoys performing with his friends as a part of FLO’s community outreach. Ryan is so excited to be performing in Fiddler on the Roof with Franklin Light Opera! He is incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited to continue growing as a performer and making new memories with this amazing cast.

Ella is excited to be making her Franklin Light Opera debut in Fiddler on the Roof! Ella is in 5th grade and loves singing, dancing, acting, and arguing with her little brother. After a long absence, Audrey Kidd is delighted to return to the stage-especially with Fiddler on the Roof, a show she has loved through multiple productions and roles, including Golde, Yente, and Fruma-Sarah. Over the years, Audrey has appeared in or directed more than 50 theatrical productions, with favorite musical roles including Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Ado Annie in Oklahoma!, and Miss Hannigan in Annie. Audrey couldn't be happier to be making theatre again and sharing the joy of Fiddler with this wonderful cast! Thank you, everyone, for your support!

This is Brady’s second show with FLO, having played the Lord Chancellor in their production of Iolanthe this past spring. He is thrilled to be following it up with Fiddler on the Roof, one of his all-time favorite shows!

Lara has worn many hats in the Franklin Light Opera universe. A former board member, stage manager, and director/teacher with FLO’s Topsy Turvy teen operetta workshop, she is very happy to be in her second staged show with the company. Lara has sung as an alto and soloist with Cincinnati Vocal Arts Ensemble, Colorado Vocal Arts Ensemble, Portland Bach Cantata Choir, and her many ensemble/chorus roles include Oliver!, Fiddler on the Roof, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Best of Gilbert & Sullivan, Turandot, Suor Angelica, and La Boheme. Lara directs homeschool theater classes with a specialty in Shakespeare, and teaches voice and piano when she’s not homeschooling her two youngest daughters or helping conduct her church choir.

Karen Wonder Dumont is a founder of Franklin Light Opera and is thrilled to bring one of her favorite classic musicals to Franklin! She wears many hats in Fiddler on the Roof—leading FLO, producing the show, and even stepping into the ghostly shoes (and pearls!) of Fruma-Sarah. Karen has performed in numerous musical theatre and opera productions and also enjoys appearing as a concert soloist. One of her greatest joys has been watching Franklin Light Opera grow into a vibrant community of musicians, performers, volunteers, and supporters. Fiddler is a family affair for the Dumonts: Karen’s son Simon plays Perchik in the Sunset Cast, while her husband, Chad, appears as both a Papa and a Russian soldier. When she isn’t producing, performing, or haunting Tevye’s Dream, Dr. Dumont is a veterinarian practicing at Healthy Petz Veterinary Hospital in Spring Hill.

Josh is honored to be back on stage with FLO after playing Sebastian in Cinderella last September.

Over the past year, he has also portrayed Our Town's Mr. Webb at Murfreesboro's Center for the Arts, Pride and Prejudice's Mr. Gardiner with Springhouse, and The Importance of Being Ernest's Merriman with New Star. He also enjoyed helping backstage during the performances of State Fair at The Keeton.

Howard Snyder (Rabbi and dramaturg) is honored to make his FLO debut. A recipient of a 2016 First Night Star Award for achievement in Nashville theatre, Howard has performed with professional and community theatre companies throughout the Nashville area as well as in the Atlanta Musical Theatre Festival and at 54 Below in NYC. He most recently played Otto Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank at the Roxy Regional Theatre in Clarksville. Other favorite shows/roles include Little Shop of Horrors (Mr. Mushnik), Cabaret (Herr Schultz), The Fantasticks (Hucklebee and Bellomy), Beauty and the Beast (Maurice), and West Side Story (Doc). Film roles include Ethel Rosenberg's father "Pop" in the feature film What Departs With Us (in production).

As a Jewish American whose Yiddish-speaking grandparents emigrated from Tsarist Russia during the same time period that Fiddler on the Roof is set, this show is deeply personal and meaningful. Howard has performed onstage in two previous productions of Fiddler: In addition to his onstage role, Howard is grateful to work as dramaturg for this show - providing research, educational resources, and personal perspectives for the cast, director, and production team to insure accurate cultural/ historical context and authentic portrayals onstage.

Joel McReynolds is a sophomore at Franklin High School. This is his first production with FLO. He also does theater with CYT Nashville. He’s been in 8 productions, and he’s currently playing Henry Waverly in White Christmas! Outside of theater, Joel loves to do gaming, and play hockey with his school! Joel would like to give thanks to God, his parents, and the directors for the amazing show!

Andrew Becker (Avram) returns to Franklin Light Opera following Iolanthe and joins Nashville Opera’s Tosca this fall as a supernumerary. A mathematician and educator, Andrew is also a ballroom dancer who wrestles professionally as Captain Dancebeard, the bolero-ing buccaneer of the seven seas.

Annette is returning for her second FLO production after appearing in Iolanthe this spring (Fairy). She was recently seen in both Hat Pins (CeCe) and Drinking Habits (Sister Augusta) with Williamson & Maury Performing Arts. Annette is a member of American Immersion Theater's Nashville troupe and performs at multiple venues. She also sings everything from bluegrass to Brahms at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Franklin. She hopes you enjoy this touching, classic show.

Nathan Abelt is thrilled to help bring Fiddler on the Roof to the stage in Franklin!

Prior roles of his include the Page in Amahl & the Night Visitors, Sir Arthur Sullivan in FLO's "The Best of Gilbert & Sullivan," ensemble (giant, knight, town butcher, lord of court) in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella, a Peer in lolanthe, and Cop 2/Ezra Pennywise in Williamson & Maury Performing Arts's production of Hatpins. Nathan's next appearance will be in The Renaissance Players' upcoming production of Dracula, being directed by his good friend Brady Klosterman!

John Bowers (Mordcha): John is psyched to make his FLO debut in "Fiddler on the Roof" alongside his theatrical daughter Maia, a playwright. No stranger to the story, he previously played Sasha and a bottle dancer in "Fiddler" as a high school student in Waterville, Maine. He so portrayed John B. Thayer in a production of "Titanic: The Musical." He is thankful for his WONDERFUL family: Sarah Jane, Maia and Jackson, and he knows you'll enjoy the show!

Vincent Davis is delighted to return to Franklin Light Opera for Fiddler on the Roof, lending his tenor voice to the featured Russian solo in “To Life.” His previous FLO credits include Lord Pinkleton in Cinderella, Dr. Blind in Die Fledermaus, and The Pirates of Penzance. He has also appeared as Ladislav Sipos in She Loves Me at The Keeton Theatre.

As a concert soloist, Vincent has performed works by Handel, Barber, Schumann, Gershwin, and Giordano. His Handel repertoire includes the tenor recitative “Comfort Ye,” the aria “Every Valley,” and the recitative and aria sequence “He That Dwelleth in Heaven” and “Thou Shalt Break Them” from Messiah. His artistic foundation includes extensive performance experience with Nashville Opera and the Nashville Symphony Chorus in major operatic and symphonic repertoire.

Vincent studies voice with Professor William Crimm and continues expanding his artistry across opera, oratorio, musical theatre, art song, and spirituals.

Lee Spitzer is an Oracle IT consultant specializing in healthcare and supply chain applications.   He graduated with a music degree from Rhodes College and sang with the Rhodes College singers, many years ago, before his IT career.  He also plays guitar, sings in the choir at the Church of the Resurrection, and enjoys spending time with family.  He performed in The Pirates of Penzance, Amahl and the Night Visitors, The Best of Gilbert and Sullivan, Cinderella, and Fiddler on the Roof with FLO.

Shabnam Aminmadani (Mama/Ensemble) is thrilled to be performing in her first production with Franklin Light Opera. Shabnam fell in love with theater in high school and rediscovered that passion years later watching her daughter Roxy perform. She is excited to be part of this incredible cast and honored to help bring Anatevka to life in Fiddler on the Roof. She would like to thank FLO for this wonderful opportunity and her family for their support. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Ashley is thrilled to return to the stage in Fiddler on the Roof as a Mama, a name she knows well given her years of experience in the art of mothering 4 boys! Her last musical was in high school, but she has continued to nurture her love of the  performing arts as a piano teacher, and in her spare time, she can usually be found dancing, singing, or making music in some form. She is grateful to be part of this amazing cast and thankful to her husband Kevin and kids for their support. 

Originally from Florida, Tessa’s passion for performance began early (likely to avoid math homework) & has only grown since. While she has done commercial & television work, live theater remains her true love. Tessa thrives on the connection between performer & audience, believing deeply in the unifying magic of storytelling.

A few of her favorite credits include: Amy in Theophany at Tennessee Performing Arts Center, Thalia in Gods of Comedy with Lakewood Theater, & Sue/Sandra in The Exonerated with Dark Horse.

Offstage, Tessa enjoys reading, writing, and gaming. She hopes to inspire future theater lovers, just as she was once inspired from the audience.

Maia Bowers (Esther): Maia Bowers is overjoyed to be making her FLO debut in Fiddler on the Roof! She’s also so excited to share the stage with her dad, John, and her wonderful new friends. Maia has loved musical theatre for her whole life and has been in many productions. Some of her favorite roles have been Sally in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Miss Trunchbull in Matilda, and Cinderella’s Stepmother in Into the Woods. Maia is also a budding playwright; last spring, her Theatre for Young Audiences show Peter H. Reynolds’ World of Creation ran at her school, Centennial High. Her one-act play Arabella just won STAAR Theatre’s one-act contest and is to be fully produced in 2027! Maia would like to thank her family and friends for their constant support. Ephesians 3:17-21.

Over 20 years removed from her last musical theatre role, Kristen is thrilled to make her return with FLO, circling back to where her musical theatre journey began: as Chava in Fiddler on the Roof, followed by Eliza in The King and I.

Music has remained a constant ever since, from singing lead in cover bands (because #Nashville) to choral performances at Carnegie Hall and the Schermerhorn and leading worship at several area churches. Kristen is a wife, a writer, and the proud mother of three daughters who share her love of all things creative, and is privileged to pass on what she continues to learn about music, performing, and doing what you love even when life feels too busy for whimsy. Thank you to Matt, Sabrina, Brooklyn and Camryn for encouraging her to be brave and to do this for herself.

Chad Dumont is excited to be performing with Franklin Light Opera for his fifth consecutive mainstage show. He’s an active board member of FLO and is excited to be chosen as a featured dancer in Cinderella.  Chad has a long history in theatre and has been cast in many shows over the past 20 years, including Die Fledermaus, HMS Pinafore, the Pirates of Penzance, Candide, Kiss Me Kate and many others.

Susan has performed in several productions with Franklin Light Opera. Her debut into the production side began when she assisted with choreography for The Pirates of Penzance. Susan has experience in figure skating and ice dancing. She toured worldwide as a vocalist and dancer with Air Force Entertainment and has assisted with children’s recreational dance classes. In addition, she is a certified group fitness instructor and has taught aerobic classes back when *NSYNC, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera were at their height. Susan is honored to serve as choreographer for this production of Cinderella.

A classically trained soprano, Catherine studied at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and did graduate work at Austin Peay State University, receiving bachelor’s and master’s degrees in vocal performance. She has performed ensemble and comprimario roles with the Nashville Opera. Passionate about choral music, she has had the privilege of singing with multiple choral groups in both Tennessee and North Carolina. Catherine lives in Franklin with her husband Gray and son Heath. She is delighted to be performing again with the Franklin Light Opera.

This is Sophie's first show with FLO! Some of her past credits include Beauty and the Beast (Mrs Potts), as well as Newsies! (Medda Larkin), Into the Woods, and Fiddler on the Roof. She would like to thank her family, friends, and mentors for consistently cheering her on. She gives all the glory to God, and hopes you all enjoy seeing this show come to life!

Finn Quimby is 12 years old and is excited to join the ensemble of Franklin Light Opera’s Fiddler on the Roof. Finn has been performing on stage for the past two years and has already appeared in nearly 10 stage productions.

A talented vocalist, Finn loves bringing music and storytelling to life on stage. When he’s not performing, he enjoys playing basketball, practicing archery, hip- hop dancing and playing video games.

Finn is grateful for the opportunity to be part of Fiddler on the Roof and looks forward to sharing this special production with audiences!

Maggie is a sophomore at Lipscomb University majoring in Communication Disorders with a minor in theatre! Originally from Monroe, Louisiana, Maggie has been in numerous musicals, including Anastasia (Anya), Grease (Frenchy), R&H Cinderella (Marie), and A Christmas Carol (The Ghost of Christmas Past). She is grateful to God every day that she gets to keep participating in theatre here in Nashville & sends her sincerest thanks to the greatest loves of her life, her family.

Julia is so excited to be part of "Fiddler on the Roof" with FLO. She has had the honor of participating in previous FLO productions including "Pirates of Penzance" and "The Best of Gilbert & Sullivan" as part of the youth choir. Some other favorite shows she's been involved in are "Tuck Everlasting", "Music Man Jr." and "James and the Giant Peach Jr." Julia would like to thank her fellow cast members and entire production team for making this incredible show happen and hopes you will enjoy the show!

Josiah is thrilled to be returning to the stage!

His favorite role was Charlie in Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn. In his spare time he enjoys playing on the trampoline and riding his scooter at the skate park. He wants to thank his Mom for encouraging him and helping him make his way to where he is today.

John Schultz is a professional educator, having served as Principal for 32 years.  His theatrical experience includes acting in, directing or conducting over 160 shows at every level - school, community and professional theater.  He is thrilled to be part of another great experience with Franklin Light Opera.

Scott Brons is thrilled to be back with Franklin Light Opera for ‘Fiddler.’ He makes his lunch money as a pianist, vocalist, and composer-lyricist. Last season he worked with Studio Tenn, Nashville Rep, Lipscomb Department of Theatre, Franklin Light Opera, and Father Ryan’s Purple Masque Players. Besides having everything, he knows what everything’s for.

Elanah Bruce is a professional arts administrator, actor, and director. Favorite credits and jobs: Co-Director, Princess Hamlet (CSC Alumni Committee), Assistant Director, Little Women the Musical (Lipscomb University), Company Manager for Much Ado About Nothing (Shakespeare on the Sound), Tour Director, Twice Upon a Time (Storybook Theatre), u/s Polonia, Hamlet (Nashville Shakespeare Festival). Ashley Strella (Choreographer) is thrilled to be back with Franklin Light Opera, this time as a choreographer. She was most recently seen as Lady Tolloler in Iolanthe with FLO last spring. Ashley is a Kansas City native singer, actor, dancer, and educator now residing in Nashville, TN. Born and raised in the Sunflower State, she earned her BFA in Musical Theatre with minors in Dance and Exercise Science from Wichita State University and has been seen performing all over the Midwest with companies such as The Black Repertory Theatre of KC, Cedar Fair/Six Flags Entertainment, The White Theatre, and The Forum Theatre, among others. Other Nashville credits include Christmas in Paradise (About The Town Productions) and two contracts of Sweet Soul Music (WCPAC). Her passion for theatre has blossomed into a passion for teaching theatre, and she is privileged to grow her teaching career with CYT Nashville, WCPR, and TN EdTA. Anna Conley is excited to join FLO as their Props Master for this production, her first with the company! A classically trained dancer and lifelong performer, Anna has worked on both sides of the stage, including serving as Stage Manager for Arsenic and Old Lace at CSCC and as a crew member for several productions with Drama People. Most recently, she performed in The Hunchback of Notre Dame with Source One Five. She studied theatre at Columbia State Community College and has trained with dance programs including the University of South Carolina, Nashville Ballet, and The Nutmeg Ballet Conservatory. @_annaconley_

Elizabeth's love of theatre began at the age of two and has taken her across stages in Canada and the U.S.

Professionally, she spent over a decade as a theatre technician. A few highlights from her career include four seasons as venue technician with Bard on the Beach, serving as assistant stage manager for one of the entertainment stages at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics Experience BC, and working at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival. She has stage-managed TYA tours of Lava and Bones and Cranked, and served as stage manager for The Pirates of Penzance and lighting designer for lolanthe (winner, Best Lighting Design, Community Theatre Coalition). Now back in theatre for fun, this is her third show with Franklin Light Opera; previously working as the Stage Manager for Cinderella

(2025) and Director for FLO's Spring 2026 production of lolanthe.

Nick Branson has been an avid lover of light opera/musical theatre since 2013. He studied classical voice at Lee University in Cleveland, TN and received a Masters of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from Belmont University in 2026.

Nick is the current acting Co-Vice President of the FLO Board of Directors, acting as a point person for all areas of Stage Craft. He is an experienced hobby sewist with a love for historical costume and set building. Nick acted as the Costume Designer for FLO's production of Die Fledermaus in 2024 and Amahl and the Night Visitors in 2025 and is excited to be working on the production team for Fiddler on the Roof.
